I have a question about texturing existing .dts files. What I am trying to do is retexture the sniper rifle in T2. I have found both the weapon_sniper.dts and the weapon_sniper.png. I took both these files and copied them to new names then modified the .png file. After that I went into my "mod" directory and edited the sniper.cs file and changed the .dts refrences there.
I also placed the new .dts in my /base/shapes dir and put my new .png in the /base/textures dir.
I'm sure I am doing something wrong. Can anyone tell me what? All I wana do is use the same .dts as the sniper rifle but make it diferent looking.
