Tribes is unique in it's map sizes, and considering T:V's failure, I really doubt they'd care at all.

Besides, they're making it primarily for Unreal, which has smaller map sizes naturally.

to add to Laggs statement, TV also took away:
those loveable bioderms.
skiing ((well not all but when ya have to hold a ski button it takes away from a fast simple game))
fewer original weapons ((i dont remeber ever using a bayonnet in any tribes game))

i played only the demo (( thats all i needed to pass judgement)) TV really isnt more then a knock off of several games. and i have lost all respect for VUgames because of it. if they want to design a game that obviosly will not be well accepted by the original tribes community then they have no buissness trying to market a game to that community

I own both T2 and T1. I have for months. I like TV better for some inexplicable reason.

A lot of people complain about overpowered jets. Let's think: The jets are angled DOWN, not over.

Level boundaries: Some maps in T2 were just too freeping BIG, and I almost fall asleep looking for someone to blast. The TV maps are optimized for intense gameplay, which I love. Those who know me will also know that Battle Of The Dome is my favorite map in T2. Besides, it

As for bots... They falsify the player readings by a good two-hundred heads. Also, VU said that all they could do was make them slightly less stupid than everyone else's bots, which is not a good thing. In most shooters, vertical movement isn't an issue. In Tribes, it adds a whole new mess. People spend time to make awesome bots, true, but given how many maps there are, it would consume months of work. As for flaws... Patches! As for vehicles... Small maps. Don't NEED transports. Besides, grappling onto a fighter is bloody FUN.
