1. Don't try to map with bots on. AFAIk, they don't screw anything up, but they will hog CPU resources and get in the way, slowing the editing process down.
3. A password on a LAN game is unneccessary, just FYI.
4. It's ALT-E (not CTRL-E) but you already tried that, though I hope you ARE holding down ALT wile pressing E.
5. Generally, you should try to map with a clean copy of T2. Just helps prevent any scripts interfering with each other, and IMO, it loads faster.
But to actually answer yor questiob, I think they changed editor.open(); to toggleeditor(1);

when I type editor.open(); in the console, it tells me object editor not found, attempting to execute command open,
when I try Alt-E, or Ctrl-E. it does nothing, execpt zoom (because 'E' is my zoom key. I unmapped E, and it still does nothing)
I tried pressing F10/F11, because I found something about it in the manual...
I think I'm running build 25034. I using the 'Sierra Best Seller Series' Edtion. I have a copy of tribes2 before the re-realease, (the horrably buggy verson) and the editor worked by entering the console command, and pressing CTRL+E. (if it didn't give me a UE
)The only mod I think I'm runing is BotPilot, but I tried opening it without BotPilot, and nothing.
I'm running it under Lan/Solo Play.
There's no players execpt bots, and I tried Disabling those.
I added a password to the game.
what's wrong!?
