How to play Tribes 2

This is just some information for new members and prospecting players. You can download the client on many sites. The most bug free one I have found is located at Editing Archive. It is fully patched, so no other files needed to download. However, you'll realize that you cannot connect through the online shortcuts. You can now connect through your Lan shortcut if you have the IP address. Just load Tribes 2 Lan and Solo play then hit insert and type in the IP address. There is another alternative. You can try Tribes Next. Simply download and then run the installer and now you can load through the Online short cut. You'll have to register of course, but you do it within the game and you do not need to give your email.
You can also visit Tribes 2 Bouncer which has nothing to download or install but requires authentication on joining the server. This is an alternative check them out here
Tribes 2 Bouncer is only used on one server now, EWO's Houston server. It would be important to point out to you that you have to register and post on their forums to get a log in on to their server. They hold weekly pickups on Fridays but pretty much inactive the rest of the week.
