Since this has a custom terrain, that makes it Client Side. You needed to put "Players must download" to yes. And I don't wanna be mean or anything, but this isn't really a map.

Well what can I say.. at least I dont have to download to find out if its good.. : )
I can say its an interesting concept and I like the terrain.. I may use it later.. :)
You really should have stuck it under other and put down player must download. Maybe if you ask Bytor really nicely he can change those options for you..
Next time be sure you classify it as such.. It would help alot for guys who like this sort of thing..
I dont know if your new or not but if you can do that it would be better.
anyways awesome concept but lacks CTF and such so I wont give a grade..

F is for Filthy Thief. If you ever come into my server you're banned permenantly. BTW this is a map by JackTL he just put his name on.

Dude,
first off, this map sucks.. I think this sort of thing should have stayed between you and your friend. Please dont release crap anymore. also if you use the beta editor let us know.. I went in and no terrain.. so dont expect to win any rave reviews on this map... second if you steal a map and slap your name on it then expect some rage... at least throw some credit to those you stole from.. : )

....wtf is this....k, this is tribes 2 MAPS.com, ok? this ain't a map it's a stolen..borring terrain where you drive friggin MPB's. if i wanted to flip MPB's i would drive one over a cliff. (ooOO fun!...uh, no)I have more fun doing aerobatic flips in a havoc. And this is not CTF. more like FTJ for Flip the Jericho. You're better off having Bytor delete this map from the database and closing you're account. BTW if i see you in a server you're as good as kicked. Map thief. (Thought: Why stesl such a crappy ass map??)

Read over the comments... I am ashamed to call myself a T2 mapper with people like this around. And TheBerk, WHATS UP MAN??

Hey shane, remember me? Ill give this one an A just because I feel like flipping MPBs right now and this is just the thing for me. Now see if u can make this a TRUE CTF map with the bases really far apart (1000+), totally flat terrain, NOT client side, MPBs as the only vehicle, and vehicle pads facing the opposite direction of the NME base so u dont have to line it up yourself. O, and do some scripting so u can deploy MPBs near buildings.

Sorry CC I guess I get a little hot some times.
: )
anyways disregard me... : ) I guess I assume to much... I am a little ticked he didnt say it was beta made tho... Also he should have correctly stated that it was other and needs to be client side..
I will put my flame stick away now and refrain from pulling it out again.. : ) Unless its called for........ Hehehehehe.. : )

He did not steal anyone's map. The only thing he did near wrong was to put it under "CTF" (a newbie mistake and forgivable) and to not mention that it was made w/ the BETA editor (as I understand it). Not serious crimes. Infact, there are many maps with flat terrain, they are: MissionBlank (done by Zear, I think it was made a year ago), Construction Zone, dogfight, FlatMars, Flat MPB Flipping, AND Flatland. There is also another construction map that just has a small hill at the center while the rest is flat.

Well, when i did my comment i was under the impression he DID steal it. if i could go back i guess id give it a 'none'. sorry man (I still have more fun with a havoc) :)

If I wanted to flip MPBs I would pick up the boring, stupid, terrible Siege map Air Force.

Jesus, you people need to slow down, this is such a nice welcome to the Tribes 2 mapping community. Ah well have a good one everyone

i wont say its a waste of a "map", but i will say this, you could go into the editor, delete the land, and stick a flat stretched wall down and flip to your hearts content.

I was defending, sorta.. saying how it's kind of pointless to get someone for "stealing" a map that probably only took 10 minutes to make, and can't tell the difference between a new one and the 'old, first' one.

by TheBerk on August 28, 2002 · Rating:

Well for me I change it to c...
there happy?
anyways here is the gist.. take concusion grenades (alot) and throw them under mpb... soon the combined concussion will build up in the mpb (dont ask me how) then jump in and enjoy the ride..
: )

I give this an F and I sustain my F.

None of you find it suspicious that Flatland was released on the 3rd of August and this came about 10 days later?

*********Ahhh! Proof that it was stolen!********

If you go to the SOUTHWEST corner of the mission area. You'll find a little dent in the terrain, with a texture error (Looks like a white splotch). JackTL himself put that there, I've asked him when I found it on the original Flatland.

by Dr. Pimento on March 20, 2003 · Rating:

Wonder if anyone will ever see this comment.. it's a little late. ;) That "proof" is an error that happens frequently with custem terrain. The LoneWolf SinglePlayer missions have the same error.. and I hardly think we copied off someone else. =D
