I built this map to test a new idea I ahd for capture and hold. I have't seen it in any other map. But my favorite game on this map is Hunters with a full load of bots, total madness! If you like hunters, or want to try something unusual in capture and hold, then this is the map for you.
An emergancy evacuation on the hostile planet of Valcus 7 has forced the Inferno and Storm tribes to flee into the flying fortress high above the volcanic land. Now the two sides fight in close quaters to claim controll of the only safe haven. This map was designed for the fans of BloodBath in Tribes. This map is server side, so only the Server Admin's need to download it.
This map is really just an experiment. I was playing with physical zones and combining game types on one map. This map has 3 capture points to make CTF more interesting. Bot support may show as active, but due to the very light gravity the bots are all but helpless. This is a .vl2 file just extract to the base directory
This sacred ground is used for pagentry and medal ceremony's. However even in times of celebration violence can take hold, and whole battles could be fought over sacred ground. The Ceremony area is located on Gelatinus Prime, a planet known for it's unuseual water properties... This map need only be downloaded by Server Admins.
The flag is located within the main structure. There are two vehicle pads as well as many repair patches scattered about. A flight ceiling of 900 units provides a taller then usual game area. I thought of adding a second flag (2 rabbits) but declined since this is after all my first map.
This is my second map for Tribes2. Its a very simple Rabbit map and it only took me about two hours to make. The Flaf Home is in the center of the valley and is surrounded by four bunkers. Two of these have inventory stations and all four of them have repair patches. The Flag Home also has an inventory station. oh and btw, it doesnt support AI
