"A battle thats been going on for as long as this storm existed. Two factions arguing over mining rights to a storm many times greater than Earth itself. Long ago they forgot what they were fighting for and it will continue as long as this storm rages."
-- Ancient Diamond Sword Scriptures
This is the quote and story for my map...like it? Anyways this is a seriously difficult map for lone-wolfs...teamwork is a must to get the flag...The bases are floating 1000m over a planet-wide expanse of lava...so don't fall.
Ok this is a very close combat map...even a HO can cap on it.I left an opening under both sides platforms to allow morter spam from above down to flag.Fast caps will be a plus in this map.Lightning can be a hazard to your health, and please dont drink the YELLOW WATER!!Have fun!!
Back again! Hope you all don't cringe at the sight of me coming back yet again. But even if you do, I promise you'll like this one. Here's the low down.
This map supports alot of game play types, but all work really well. Bot support is very good in all types, but sometimes they act alot like bots.
There is no V-pad or generators. The focus of this map is placed heavily upon using your skills to stay alive.
Once more, that danged Pimento for scripting.
And me. None of this would have been possible with out me. Thanks me!!!!
The map is not a very big map but is still a decent size. A number of platforms that lean the each can be a advantage for heavies to mortar down at scouts below.
Each team has a flag tower. The generator powers the stations and sentry turret.
Two platforms witch have a plasma turret with is powered buy solar panels.
There is also a centre defence that can be captured. It has two plasma turrets.
Hope you enjoy this map
My first attempt at mapping, I just cut the original down in size. This was more of a 'learn the editor' thing than anything else, but I'd appreciate feedback on it. In small groups (10-16), it can be fun; never tried over 16, it would probably be too cramped. Be as brutally honest as you can while still being nice!!! :)
my first attempt at a siege map, (very) loosely based on Casern Cavite. The Defense's base is arranged in generator tiers. Offense shouldn't even attempt to enter the base until the Tier 1 generator falls. Then, there are two generators powering Tier 2, making it somewhat difficult to take out. Destroying Tier 3 isn't absolutely necessary to capture however, as destroying the base generator will open up the flag room as well. If Tiers 1 & 2 & Base are all out, the easy cap route can be taken via the center shaft.
