The demons raged their wars for a thousand years. Until the day they finally returned to dust. Their wreckage and armor was scattered across the barren wastes. The few survivors of the doomed planet gathered and began to rebuild. It didn't take long to realise that the years had taken their toll on the people. The need to kill had etched itself into their very chromosomes. It had become an instinct. A craving. The final curse of the demons. It was their checkmate against those that had forgotten so many years before. A cruel joke. So those that had forgotten, would be forgotten.
This Siege mission has 3 Solar Panels to gain access to the Defender’s Base. Two Main Generators as well as one Reserve Generator exposes the Switch. The Defenders are going to have to work hard in this mission. The Solar Panels power separately the Entrance Inventory Stations and their Force Fields. Spawns are linked to the Main Generators causing the Defenders to only Spawn Outside if they are down . The Reserve Generator is deep in the cellar and well Defended, it powers 2 Inventory Stations and a Sentry Turret. It will not be easy to Defended the Objective Switch if it is exposed.
I know allot of you dont like construction maps. But i think this one is really cool because of all the time i spent being bored. As you can see by all of the pictures i drew on the terrain.
but its not just a flat map. its acctually a map that has perfectly balanced hills. so they are a straight angle. and go from the lowest terrain to the highest terrain point.
So to spice it up a lil. i put water going through the middle of it.
Xerxes was created out of my desire to create a "Valley of the Kings" type of environment. What was created was a land of winding canyons where windblown sand rolls along the ground. A place of power, ancient and great.
Is this dramatic enough for you yet, or should I pour a little more literary heat into it? No? Well, we'll just get to the mechanics of the thing then.
Each team controls a Pillar Tomb base, which houses the main generator and six inventories. Just outside, one will find the flag in an obelisk.
The "MageMod MapPack" contains the official maps for MageMod. There are eight maps. Some of the maps are recreations of other maps I've uploaded, but with fixed FPS issues. These maps should work with all mods!
For example; Arrogant Queens now has less objects that make up each castle, and Acropolis is easier to cap in (ie.
This map was made by Verna and DSEZ and the scripting was done by Alingis and A Tiny Fishie. The basic map elements; sky, fog, starting bases, and water were taken from Tex's map Ocean Front Property. The teleport pads and scrip was done by Sparky. In this map the offensive team starts out in 2 bases each on other sides of the maps. To open the force field around the floating switch they have to take down all 3 sandcastle generators. They also have a forward base in the middle of the map that they can repair and use.
Bastage is a fine example of what happens when a mapper plays way too much on two maps and decides to combine their core elements so he can save himself a bit of time. @_@
The terrain is basically a three-ridge system, with the middle ridge being flanked by two pools of stagnant water.
