Extractinf .vl2 is a must ... but why

Hi again,

I finally finished my second map at all, my first CTF
I did it now in a .vl2 file and moved it to normal playing Tribes2 Gamedata but while others work that way mine doesnt. I have some other maps also in .vl2 in Gamedata folder and can play and choose them for hosting but mine not.

here a pic how the .vl2 lokks like. Did only a doubleclick on it, it´s winace not winzip

//edit: this one is in folder huddlespot but another one looking just the same is in Gamedata so that´s not the reason...

lol, I have already, doesnt work have to extract

a friend wanted to test the map but he´s missing ninevah-turret.dif
i searchedin all map packs but i cant find that file! where is it? my freind hast europack, europack2, xpack and xpack2

It's in Ninevah. It's a Siege map, not a pack, that you apparently downloaded. Look in that .vl2.

Some people have said that compressing the .VL2 causes problems. May want to try remaking it without compression.
