How to create a VL2 file

Well you can either download the map .vl2 maker of this site or you can do the following

Make 3 folders on your C:\ drive...they have to be in the root directory.

missions
terrains
textures\gui

then insert the .mis file into "missions" folder
then insert the .spn file into "terrains" folder
then insert the .png file into "textures\gui" folder

Then run WinZip and create a zip file somewhere on your harddrive. Once you have down that then you can add the files (with path file info enabled)...

Once you have done that you can save it and change the extension to .vl2 instead of .zip...and VIOLA!!!!

You now have your .vl2 file that can be thrown into the base fold of Tribes2!

will it work with a free version of winzip. Our computer didn't include winzip and it was on a friend's demo disk. So I kind of got it from him. and when you say base folder do you mean the root place where you can access the Dynamix folder (not in the folder but where you can get to it) I'm not a computer savy person. So if you could answer my question I could use the help.
