Heh, all I know is Badlands uses Starwolf and Diamond Sword skins.

No, it's because forcing a bioderm skin (for those people using this option) would cause some major conflicts with voice commands.

I.E. You would be hearing a female "Woohoo" binded to a Bioderm. I know there's a program or somesuch out there to do this already, but for the most part it would be a nasty and unwanted thing to happen to ALL players on that team.

It may also be the fact that Bioderms are supposedly the "bad guys" from the Tribal wilderzones, and if I know my logic most newbies don't want to be the villains.

Sorry, this is absolutely not what I had in mind when starting this thread... In fact, my point was not about the default skin, it was more about "just" the name of the team on the lower left portion of the screen, and the voice saying who wins at the end of the game

I think the reason they did not force BioDerm for Badlands if they would be focing a Model, instead of just a skin. The Bioderm is a completely different model, like male vs female.

yes, it is the music file which determines which teams play which. if you want to change this, change ctfgame.cs. Sadly, in classic they took out the normal team names and used storm an inferno. I changed that back :)
