Question

I'm still kind of new to T2 mapping so this will seem like a newbie question to you experienced mappers. I make sever-side maps, and if you cut a hole out of the terrain ( to put a base that goes underground in or something ), does this make the make client side only or will it still be server side? It will turn client side right since you are altering the terrain?

Heh.. and why you chose "Texture editing" to post in, Red Five will come along to explain.

No, seriously.. cutting holes is deceptive. You're "editing" terrain.. yet you're not. The .MIS file keeps a list of all "empty squares".. and all you're doing is adding to that list. So yes, it stays serverside, if all you do is cut holes.
