I know there are probably lots of sites out there but i like tribes2mapsdotcom.

well anyway I wanted to know if anyone knew how to make a custom texture for worldcraft.


also i would like to know how to make a custom terran. like you know kinda like tron arena or that acid one.

First Question: You just create an image file that has dementions that are powers of 2 (2x2, 2x4, 2x8, 32x32... Max of 512x512, but try to keep under that). You will need a .png copy of it for Tribes 2 to use. Then you will need to gather that texture and all others that you will use and make your own .wad using Wally (see my Beginners Guide to Mapping for everything you need). This will allow use of it in Worldcraft (after you select that .wad in the "Textures" tab of the settings).

Second: Open up the terraformer in the Tribes 2 editor. This allows use of functions for terrain creation. The terrain part allows detailed work and small manipulation. You really should read a tutorial(s) (links and info in my Guide).
