Emaps

Has anybody figured out how to make new emap yet? I believe that some time ago I found a way to do them but haven't remembered. I'm playing around with it again but hoping someone else figured it out.

I dont make Emaps that are the same as the ones that came with tribes2.

But if you look in my map sulfur bayou there is a custum emap. I use this mostly for the sky refection off the water. I turn all other emaps off in the game anyway. The only one you cant turn off is on the water.

As for making one that looks like what you see in tribes2. I have not seen the point in doing that becuase my emaps that I make with brice 5 work just fine and look nice.

Basicly I take a wide angle shot of the the sky and use that. Useing of course the camera angle looking straightup. It seemes to work for me. The emaps look nice on the water and thats what i do.

If you have paint shop pro 7 you can just use it. Swirl everyhting around and boom! got a emap! that's what I did for my tron maps. Go check it out.
