Oh, and BTW, just make sure that the wad you make with wally is named the same as the directory the texture pngs are stored in, so for example, if your texture png's were in gamedata/base/textures/mywad/ then make sure your wad is named "mywad.wad"

I got it to work, finally.

I have made a texture and got it ingame.

The thing is I used Wally back in the "old days" and when I was starting this project I went to Wally's site but read somewhere that it didnt supported PNG's so I figured that's why they had made the Wadtool.

But anyway it does support PNG's so you helped me alot by pointing back to Wallys.

I just read your posts - i was having the same problem as the WW2 mod guy -that damn WONDLL.dll - the worldcraft tools zip file doesnt even come with it. i searched and searched and coudnt find wadtool anywhere else. i read a couple things about this Wally thing but had no idea what it was. I was gonna make a prefab of my school (a BIG project) and needed custom textures.

Good, I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking .wads were a doom thing. I made some badass doom levels back in the day but never got to post any. Lost in in a HD crash

When you all talk about editing textures you're refering to building textures or the terrain textures?

Yes Mathias, we are talking about textures for interior buildings here. The wad file is just a file containing textures used for application in WorldCraft.

Lead Falcon, lemme know if you are having any trouble with Wally, and i can help you out... although its a pretty easy program to use once you mess with it a bit.
