help?

I got EVERYTHING for my new map, but the stupid .vl2 file doesn't have the stuff i put in it, and as soon as I open it up, it tries to get the files then. It gives me a thing to choose a directory, which when I try to do what it says, it messes up and doesn't work. Help?

What are you using to try to put the files into the .vl2 with?

I was using mapzip.

OK here is what you need to do.

1) make sure you know where the mapzip.exe file is.
2) place all the map files in a directory called (whatever you map name is) (files include: .mis, .spn, .nav, .png, .ter, .cs)
3) the type at the dos command
x:\ddd\mapzip.exe z:\mdmd

x = drive where the mapzip.exe file resides
ddd = directory(s) where the mapzip.exe file resides
z = drive where the map files reside
mdmd = directory(s) where the map file reside

That should do it....if you can' t do it with those intructions there is something messes up with your program or your computer or both or user error.
