then, I would suggest learning about .vl2 files... in this same forum topic


if you have 128 - 256 mb RAM, you might want to see my tip about using a ramdisk to make vl2's easy...


and finally, for the picture... umm it is a PNG file, it is in
textures/gui/
dir..
the way I usually find out the dimensions is to load an existing one up

Tribes2Maps.com now formats all the zips and sets them up as vl2 files. So, if you have a hard time understanding them, you don't need to worry.
