When are there too many turrets?

I tryed out the 5 turret scheme, and it works great! Its becomes very difficult to actually get the flag out, and with the number of people likely to be on the map, it'll be quite a challenge!

In addition, since my flag building also has the belt gear, repair utilities, and packs, there will be enough traffic there to stop any capper who doesn't get someone to help!

Its looking good, and FPS are high as well! Even though this may be my first map, it could turn out VERY good! Too bad custom terrains make it client side.



But who cares! I have great plans for a SS map in the future!!

Oh, and if y'all are wondering about my new sig, it's like this. I roleplay online in the Black Dragon Inn on IRC, and the barmaid/bot, Dulcina, is sometimes 'puppeted' or taken over by one of the ops. Last night one of my characters, Maena, was upset, accidentally hurled a mug of mead at Dulcy. The response, since Dan (Stygian) was puppeting?

Dulcina is the uber-barmaid, baby. As soon as she sees the flying mug, she dodges, Matrix-style, then grabs a rag and cleans up the mess.

Or something. I laughed, made an OOC (Out-Of-Character) comment of "She is the Chosen Barmaid." and then:

Dulcina is the One True Barmaid. Do you think any mere mortal could have worked here for seven years without being killed in some apocalyptic battle or suffering a nervous breakdown from seeing portals to Hell open every day? This is no ordinary serving wench. Fear the barmaid.

I loved that "Fear the barmaid" quote so much I used it as my quitmessage on IRC.

Oh, and if any of you care to check it out, go to #BLKDRAGON*Inn on StarChat. As that is the In Character (IC) room, #BDI*OOC is the OOC room. So go to the OOC room to ask questions. I'll be on there around 6PM EST and will try to answer any questions anybody may have

Okay:

SS stands for server side, meaning that the client (or player) does not have to DL all the files to play the map.

SS maps are maps with no custom ANYTHING (IE: nothing made by you) such as things that don't come with the original game. The only exeption for this is a LOAD.png, the pic that is beside the mis description.

All SS maps can only have the following files in their package:

*.mis (required)
*.spn (required)
*.nav (optional)

Any other files and it will be CS.
