I think that the sky is too much for IO...it has an extremely thin atmosphere...perhaps you should get a picture of Jupiter and Europa and other smaller moons and make a new sky, one that would do it justice....the sky you have now looks like it was Venus or LA in a very hazy sunset Look at Hellfire by Akira...that sky is similar to what you should have for yours...

From what I've read it seems the surface and atmosphere is yellow, red, and white.

Do a yellow sky, with some red fog, and yellow and red and snowy terrain. Give it some color.

The lava seems to be yellow at least in some areas, from being sulfer or something.

And idea would be to map the map in a area of the moon that has it's best features, like "The Largest Active Lava Flow Field in the Solar System" and particle emitters for Io's Plumes, and other notable features from the moon.

I saw a few sites calling the colored pictures false, but even the NASA crap had them liked that, soo.. I dunno, I posted them anyway.

But it sounds like from all the sulfer that the majority of the surface and Fog and some sky is yellow, and lava? *wonders how lava could be ..yellow?*

Volcanoes, lava, plumes of gases, mountains, cliffs, electic fields in the atmosphere... sounds pretty.

Edit:

Oh yeah, good choice on keeping the more vivid colors.. gotta keep things interesting.

Make some vents which are venting like yellow gas and also erupting lava ... that'd be slick.

I'm thinking putting an mpb on the space station along with the bombers and havocs.
"The space station?! How are you going to get it down without destroying it?"

It will involve the Havoc and some nice scripting >:)

The MPB is an image, so it can't be damaged while on the Havoc.
