Convoy Style Mission

As usual, I have a bunch of idea for a mission floating around in my head at all times (although I take quite some time to realize them if I do at all). After I finish my current SS project, I plan to work on a map similar to convoy.

Now, before I go begging to Alingus to rip out code from his latest release (convoy -Nuclear Edition-), I thought I should discuss what I needed here first.

My idea is EXTREMELY similar to convoy, except that instead of MPBs, havocs will be the targets.

My major issues will be changing to havoc stats so that it won't be leveled in seconds by a shrike (also, I'd need to change speed so it couldn't get to the extraction too easy), and changing a bomber for anti-air use. I wouldn't think it was possible, but then I played Alingus's map.

I think I also would need a way for the players to fight planetside. The tank would need to be modified for anti air and speed. And there would need to be something you could do without vehicles. Perhaps a number of offensive towers across the map that the offense spawns at?

Ideas? Suggestions? Flames for wanting to steal Alingus's work?

That map is fun!!

If you make one like it with a Havoc, you should make the distance farther cause the Havocs will be going twice as fast as the mpb's. Now what I think you should do is scater small mini bases all throughout the land between both insertion and extraction point. But then a few (3-4) should be enemy controled to put more presure on the pilots. Spawn points should start at home and in mini bases set for when the havocs get closer to extraction. And instead of increasing the speeds ofthe tanks, decrease the havoc's speed, just for a little-fun:D . If you will put up any turrets, make them AA's and low to the ground and hopefully the havoc pilots will fly close to the ground driving the enemy pilots into all hell fire.

I'd think of more but only if you like what I said.

True, but what if it can be a DnD? Siege and DnD are almost the same, right? Well I never played a DnD map, but wouldn't it be like siege but without a switch? Hmmmm..... Nahhh, I like Siege better.
