okay i've got a new map planned: a siege map called sledgehammer (was gonna call it onslaught, cos thats what is intended to be, but someone nabbed it first).
This map is taking a few ideas from others (sorry) but it will have:
-a flying mothership [interior] for offence, where the offence spawns. 8 shrikes, 2 bombers, and 2 havocs spawning there + invs. 2 MPBs have been "dropped" below.
-a tower on a middle island with 4 AA turrets (!) and 2 gens for ffs (in such a way that 1 satchel cant blow both up at once)
-an underground fortress with tunnels big enough for 2 tanks to drive around in (4 spawning tanks and shrikes underground) and 2 more gens for main power, but not necessary to destroy (maybe/maybe not necessary to destory, but hard to get past anyway)
ideas/suggestions to improve gameplay? thanks a lot!
its where the tanks and shrikes will spawn (note to self: needs more stuff on the ground - crates? or something from WC?) they will belong to the defenders, but the offence team can caputre the vehicles and use them for thier own.
problem: i've run out of room on the grid. i still need to make the slopeyrampy thing so people can come out of the base (will be underground) and i have no room left on the sides. will it matter?
The latest Tribes editor is not the same as that seen in the tutorials. Use the tutorials provided and for information on using the newest editor.

the offence team will start from a flying mothership, blow up a few gens in a tower to allow access to the main gens. (underground) then once these main gens are destroyed, it will be much easier to capture the switch, but not necessary to destroy them, just hard to get past massive chokepoint, blind exits etc.
