Patrols and other such unusual bot behviours....

yay! The bugs are ironed out of my map, bot support (that isn't half bad) has been added, so its pretty much ready for submittion.

However, I'd like my bots to do a bit more than just stand on the flag and hopelessly throw themselves onto the enemy defenses. To be more specific:

1. I want my bots to pick up an energy pack before attacking OR defending. The problem is that my map has no inventory stations, but the energy packs are vital!

2. I want my bots to patrol the base perimeter

3. I would like my bots to deploy sensors. I have sensor packs stashed in my armoury, so they can be picked up. But how do I get them to pick em up THEN deploy them?

In all your answers, keep in mind I know NOTHING about implementing bot objectives... so please thoroughly discuss your answer

This a very good site though he doesn't update really often he is good and this is where I learned to add bots. Which I do quite a bit. Hope this helps ya out. Oh he answer's email too unlike some other ppl out there.
