All The Things You've found That Make Bots Even Dumber!

1. Deployment of INVs: They attempt to deploy INVs on top of INVs indefinitely. They waste time standing on top of them. They waste time standing around them, like they're having a beer.

2. Deployment of Indoor/Outdoor turrets: The bots don't shoot back at these things. And as if it wasn't hard enough to get them to attack well. My God how lazy were they?

3. Mortar Spamming. They spam just fine, but then they just sit there waiting to be killed. If they don't get killed, they have a few beers, then sit there some more.

I've attempted to make certain that death awaits my offensive bots near their objectives. This is the only way I've found to make them play as realistically as possible. They don't get stuck anywhere, they don't have beers or stand around, they just attempt something poorly and get killed, respawn and do it all over again.

Am I missing something?

bots are dumb. You have to make them smart. If you plan on making a bot go do something make sure if there is anything in there path they will attack it first. now I haven't played much with the bots. On my map they just have one basic objective to help get the central switch. But, what I did do is make it that if any of the switch controled turrets are in enemy posetion they attack it before going for the switch. That is done by setting priority. Still once they reach the end of objectives, if they can't backtrack to the beginning and start over it stands to reason they will just be dumb and on vacation in a warfield. I haven't found a way to have them attack enemy deployables yet and if someone knows the answer to my mystery please inform me!! I also have problem with the bots suiting in heavy armor and trying to climb a mountain side with an inv station when you and I know damn well you can't jump that high with that pack. they seem to be to dumb to go around it so I am trying to figure out or hope someone else does a way to edit the los graph. it would be nice to take out lines in the graph for ways that frequently don't work unless the bot is in light armor with an energy pack.
