Lagg_Alot's bots ported to Triumph Mod

Hi all!

I have a small T2 server in Switzerland running Triumph mod (by REDmosquito, ). Since there are no big numbers of players anymore these days I put 15 bots on it, but they got quite boring after a while.
After seeing Lagg_Alot's bots in action I decided to make a try porting them to Triumph.

I took the AI-scripts from the Community Pack 5404 (all files beginning with ai... plus serverTasks.cs) and replaced the Triumph files with them. The result was the coolest bots on earth but they did not use the weapons of the mod. So I dug deep into the code and after a lot of learning about the way the AI works I was able to make most of the weapons work and the bots to spawn with the correct loadouts.

Now I'm anxious to hear your feedback about it! Any comments, suggestions for improvement?? Go to (the server is called "Triumph Mod! 15Bots/Custom") and check it out! Good maps to see the bots rock are "The Calm", "RedArchPass" or "NorthernCross" (vote for one of them).

To Lagg_Alot: Is it OK with you to release my port of your code with the next version of Triumph Mod ??

Hey Pink Panther I only have dial-up and playing online is sometime's a pain in the butt. Do you have a download for your Mod with Lagg's bot's that I could download and play offline? I'd like to check it out.

I just tried to get the Mod without bot's from Red's site but it said something about my secruity setting's not letting me download. Any Idea what that is from?

Lagg_Alot, thanks for your permission to use your fabulous bots in Triumph ! I hope you drop by sometime and enjoy the cool mod together with your bots.

ReconSDog, i have put the files you requested for download at (all those files beginning with Triumph...)

First unzip them and do the Triumph base install (just copying the folder "Triumph" into your Tribes2/GameData directory) then copy a working shortcut to T2, open its properties and add " -mod triumph" after its command line (without the quotes)

In the Triumph folder you'll find a folder "scripts", there you drop all the *.cs files from the AI patch, replacing all existing Triumph files.

Pink Panther, thanks a lot for posting those zip's. I really appreciate it. I love checking out mod's and having Lagg's bot support make's any map or mod even better.
