Actually Red the Bomber will be a lot easier than the Shrike Task. I already have the code written for the Bombardier (knows when to drop and/or shoot) and the Tail gunner (throws Flares and Repairs Bomber also fires manually at targets from his perch). I just need to write the Navigation Code so he passes over Targets and/or Players.
As for all you requested with the Shrike Bot, I did put in a lot of stuff to deal with different target types in different situations. But a Super Bot he is not. I do see a lot of Human Players join my server, get killed by a bot once and leave in frustration. I do not have the Bots on --- DESTRUCTION ZONE --- (feel free to join and check them out) set to max level. My point is that if the Humans can't win they don't play. As it stands now I have to call the Shrike Code once per frame and it is CPU intensive. If it was possible to add all the things you said, it would lag the game worse than Microsoft Combat Flight Sim 3 (opps did I just dis a MS product ?). As with most flight simulartor programs (at least the ones I have), you will find a lot of lag when it comes time for the code to acually do some computing. There are still some bugs that I have to mess with. Remember bots are bots and there is only so much that you can do from the scripts. A lot is hard coded in Tribes 2.exe. So it is a matter of cheating (in some cases) to get them to appear like they are doing something that requires skill. If I cheat to much it is obvious and it does not look smooth. I have to fiqure out a way to add for Bot Skill Settings into the Pilot Code so Newbies can have some fun too.
The Bot does try to Do a Flag Dive (but in some cases, he has to take out the MPB parked by the flag first).

dammned hard coding. why just not have the security and the tying of it all together hardcoded? they anticipated someone would make bots in vehicles.... why not support it fully?
i think a flight sim thing would be best. i'd help if i could..... just ask me if you want any directional/combat vector stuff.... ill try to help.
