Eh... okay. I did SOMETHING right, because I scripts my bots to pick up items... to some extent.

...whether I'm doing it the "right" or "best" way, or not, I want to try it this way. Maybe I'm just making extra work for myself, but this is my own little experiment into scripting tribes2 bots, and I'd like to follow it to its conclusion.
I was worried that I was getting sloppy with %item... erg. I'm still getting used to how tribes 2 handles variables. Maybe if I clean it up a bit, it'll get a little clearer to me...
That list of weapons is because I absolutly HATE hard-coding more than I have to... if I had my way, the AI for using weapons would be in the weapon datablocks themselves, etc.
One of the reasons I passed over using the AIPickUpItemTask stuff is because the bots only pick up stuff in Line of Sight. This would work GREAT on a map like Dust to Dust, where items are sprinkled all over the place and a bot has to make a decision at a whim, but on mine, theres a large armoury structure that my bots don't usually pass through. Besides, I want them to get complete sets of items before they go at their tasks. A bot thats defending the flag should grab an energy pack and a sniper rifle (or ELF) before he sets in, and those items aren['t usually in Line of Sight for the bots.
