Go4It : look like i have some catching up to do. i need to test out all youre maps.
plus the 2 maps ReconSDog Did.im slacking.

i had the same problem with the bots not repairing turrets, etc.

im not bot mapping genious however.
as i just regenerated the objectives, graph,nav,spawn,los.
or something to that effect.

im thinking of uploading my version of Centaur but its kinda silly and most of you here will write it off quickly. its a hard map for bots anyway. atleast i gave it a shot.
i probably will upload it. just have to get it off my game computer upstairs with a floppy. heh.

Go4It : are any of youre maps Seige maps ? or just CTF ?

KlumsyBot has given me permission to use his Bot.VL2 missions to redo the navs and such. of course giving him credit for using his files. giving Lagg Credit for doing what he does with the code.

i wont release them if :

A. they arent as good as his original files.

B. another more qualitfied Mapper is up to the task

C. if sleeping with a printed out copy [and a floppy containing the file] of Lagg_Alots tutorial under my pillow at night isnt helping :-o

im the lowest man on the totem poll as far as bots / mapping /scripts /code Goes. so that pretty much makes me a dartboard for the rest of you :/

but im improving at a oh so fast rate of 0.0001% a day !! whoosh !!

well im still learing [ at a pace slower then i want of course] where as youve been doing this for atleast alittle while.

i redid Centaur with this same "3 Button" Approach.

but it didnt matter as this map needs even more then just that. it needs some map editing.

also im just starting to figure out the next 'needed' steps in the re-BOTting.

did you tell the bots where to place inventorys/turrets in youre Re-Botting of the retail missions ?

i have to learn that.

and also have to learn atleast 2 more things that are specifically Lagg related.

i need to tell a bot what/where/distance to destroy something.

and learn the way the bots use vehicle transporters.

thats awesome stuff.

that needs to be implemented into more maps.

I try ti help but if you read the turorial that is not finished yet. I don't know what to say. I will have to see this map Centaur it may not even support bot NAV even with all the tricks I put in the tutorial.

you should continue to work on youre stuff.

Centaur has its issues.

but MagicFire is working on it as he knows more of how to do to it what has to be done.for it to be decent.

ive been slipping , havent read the latest tutorial. im still waiting for the last little bit to sink in.
