I have rewritten/edited a good chunk of the AI Scripts (maybe 60%). But it is the remaining 40% that sucks

The stupid bots (ai scripts) keep unassigning and reassigning like 15 times a second. It makes it is really hard for a Bot Pilot to fly to his target if he keeps jumping out cause he got a new task. Then gets reassigned to the same task but his shrike is at it's target with the Bot pilot standing on the ground looking at the sky (for his ride)

!!!! so that explains why the bots suck... and if you remove their constant reassigning... you could speed up the game (less lag)... i will now call you BotFix_Alot!

One way to optimize something is to remove division, square roots, etc. OUT of interior loops that get run thousands of times per frame.

Its not THAT huge a difference, individually, but its still faster.

i know. just messing with ya. but the idea is to cut out as much maths as you can

i have done programming too! mostly calculator programming though - in some sort of 3gl basic. my mate made a program which tries every single possibility and takes about 7 seconds to do a calculation which is less accurate than the one i can do in 0.6.

Lagg_Alot, will you release your far supiror Bot scripts when you have replaced around 90% of them?

BTW, I played on your server and bots flew strikes and havocs just to fly over theenemy base and jump out, including the pilot, is they suppost to do this?
