some of my bots don't seem to know how to get out of the base, they will stand in the corner bashing their stupid damn heads against the wall trying to get out. If I push them out they go do their thing but until then they just keep on trying to go thru a stone wall. any suggestions?
If you are building the NAV graph in the AI Editor, you need to build LOS (Line of Sight) as well...
If you are doing it through the command line, it builds LOS automatically, so in that case, it should work fine.
I build the LOS but the bots don't always take the best LOS or the engine is putting bogus LOS info in there, I have solved most of the problems by moving the inv stations to locations that better provide a straight path out. I have come to the conclusion that the bots are just plain STUPID. when they mortar a turret they try to mortar it from a location that is not very easyto mortar from (again STUPID) can I tell them to use missiles instead? If so EXACTLY how? I know how to set the weight of the objective that needs the most priority. Just a few things needed to make the bots really good.
