Bot objectives

Postby Dr. Pimento » Thu Apr 04, 2002 10:31 pm

Yes, I am new at this.. (before anyone asks...)
Just wondering a few things..

First:
What do the four "weight" settings do? I mean, I can see the main one.. but what if the objective has a 1st weight of 3700, and the second weight only 2000? What's the difference between that objective and the next one with only a 1st weight of 3000, and nothing else?

Second:
Is there a way to get the Bots to sort of "finish up" their job? I wish for one to get to the enemy generator, then hang around to sort of finish off the stuff around the basement.

Third:
How do I get a Bot to capture a FlipFlop that is behind enemy forcefields? I mean by this: how could I have them tell when the forcefields are down?

Is there any hope for me?
Thanks so much..

One more thing.. what about a passageway that's guarded by capturable turrets? How could I have the bots take that path if the turrets were neutral, or if their team had it.. but not if the turrets were enemy?
Thanks again..
