ok. i can help you here - vector school for you lagg! heres how you get the distance between the two shrikes:
1. get the position vector of the bot's shrike (probably the worldbox centre would work best). for this guide, it will be called OB. (because its the vector that comes from the origin, <0,0,0> to the bot)
2. get the position vector of the target's shrike. this will be called OT
3. subtract the components (i, j, k) of OT from OB. this gives the vector of the bot's shrike to the target's shrike. this vector will be called BT. (bot to target). T2 *should* understand if you say BT = OB - OT. you can go the other way, and get the vector from the target's shrike to the bots, TB, but you may be able to do more stuff with BT later.
4. now, all you need to do is get the magnitude of the vector BT. to do this, square the i component, j component, and k component. and add them together. then get the square root of this (this is an advancemnt on pythagoras' theorem) and you will get the distance between the bot's shrike and the target's shrike!
i can also tell you how to get the velocity vector of both the bot and the target's shrike...

btw, i dont know how to split the vectors from BT into its components.... maybe t2 has some sort of magnitude (or absolute vector value) command...
