arches

I'm having a problem with making arches that "stand up". What I want to do is create arched doorways, but all the arches I create are "laying down". I tried flipping horizontally and vertically, but that does not work. I hope I am not going to have to create buildings looking at the front from the top view...that will fry my puny brain:D Maybe there is a different way, besides creating arches, to make arched doorways?

Another Q, with a gridsize of 32, how tall is a player?

Something to remember about cylinders and arches... It is created in relation to the view you have active. For arches, the "side" that you see through the arch is the view you have active. So just click in the view you want to see the angles from.
