I use 3.4 myself.. 3.5 is mostly half life related stuff..
nothing major that affects torque

hmmm, well I have been using 3.5 for about a year or so, and i never had any problems.

didnt say there was problems..
just the 3.5 has things that really dont affect torque and tribes 2 mapping..
so either or is fine..

you also need the tribes 2 worldcraft files.
you can find a link on my site
try the basics tutorial there as well once you have everything set up and then it links you to the berk's tutorials which are a bit more in depth about everything.
