Well everyone, my free time isn't what it used to be therefore I am opening TribalOutpost.com to the community as it is. Unfortunately it isn't 100% the way I want it to be, but the content is there and is easy to find.
Tribes2Maps.com is staying open for now, I have no plan to shut it down, maps can still be uploaded here, and they will be sync'd to TribalOutpost.com automatically.

Alright everyone, in attempts to make TribalOutpost.com look more like a Tribes related site, I am asking for anyone with design capabilities and talent to help me out if you have time. After seeing the website I started thinking of a new design. While the current one serves its purpose and displays all the information, it is rather dull.
If anyone is interested (seriously interested) please let me know so we can discuss it.
I am also looking for cool screen captures from in game that can be used in the header of the website. Unlike the Hellgate website I don't want the header to take up half the page when you view it on a 1024 screen, but I would like to do something similar in effect.

Oh god, Hellgate: London looks so cool. I saw it in a PC Gamer magazine with mild interest, but the website lends a lot of awesomeness to the game. I love how they listed Sir Isacc Newton as one of the Cabalists, that real-life history stuff makes a good game that much better.
Anyway, about TribalOutpost, I was thinking that some flash animation would help. Nothing fancy, just something to spice it up a bit. I noticed on the Hellgate site that some of the text was animated to float upward as the page loaded, or as the text was moused over. This could add alot of character to the website. I was also thinking of something like the Tribes Vengeance website where the pictures of the players were animated to look like they were flying. Some animated Tribes 2 players would look cool as well.

Well you dont need the whole site to be flash. like look at (beware off annoying popup adds) some of it is flash and some of it aint.
