Some stuff about T:V maps

"Emerald
An early multiplayer map featuring rolling green hills littered with scrub brush and plenty of pretty little flowers. Emerald gives you a sense of what the Wizard of Oz might have been if Dorothy had a jetpack. There are also several building ruins dotting the hillsides, and it's this juxtaposition of the natural and crumbling man-made structures that give the otherwise serene and beautiful landscape and eerie vibe of death and decay.

Utopia
A surprise for the Tribes universe because it's more of an urban map than an outdoor setting. This burned-out city features plenty of concrete structures to hide in or to swoop in from high as you leap from rooftop to rooftop. There are buildings everywhere, both small single-story types and massive skyscrapers, which make for an impressive site to wage war through the ragged macadam. Although it's an urban area, there are still plenty of paths to jet through, with rubble and toppled buildings forming man-made ramps similar to those natural rolling hills we're used to from Tribes. We also saw several fixed heavy turrets in this map, and we can only assume that you'll be able to man them in the final.

Stronghold
Like Emerald, this was mainly a verdant landscape that featured huge builders, deep canyons and running waterfalls. Irrational doesn't look shy about packing lots of vegetation in the maps as there are more trees than you would think possible -- kind of like a broccoli forest. There were also a few floating bases that we passed by during the demo.

Revenge
One of the single-player maps we saw is a snow and ice level complete with frozen lakes and coniferous trees.

Grotto
Another snow and ice level, only this one was set at night. The lighting effects and reflective surfaces really showed up well at night, with lights glinting off the ice and shining bright in the dark distance. "
