T:V Review

However, it does sound like the weapons are going to SUCK in T:V. Granted, they may be cool ideas, but they all sound hard to use. They also sound like it will be really easy to whore and rape with all of the weapons. I liked the old times of T2 when weapons were selected based on rate of fire, damage, ammo, and range. T:V weapons sound a lot more "UT2k4" in the fact that they are useless. Situations in which T:V weapons will come in handy will be rare. You will probably have a 1-in-10 chance of actually finding a good use for many of these weapons.

I would have to disagree. Though a lot of the weapons aren't what they could be in terms of effectiveness, the disc owns far more than T1 or T2 (which is good considering it is the predominant weapon.)

Granted, it does seem like they tried to sugar-coat the game to be more appealing to UT players. A little too much, if you ask me.

Maybe, I don't know. I came into T:V hoping to love it. While it was fun, it just wasn't as fun.

I think he means that the maps look natural for once. While the Tribes 2 terrain did look good, I dont think that you'll ever find a planet in the solar system with terrain similar to it. From some T:V screenshots and movies, I noticed that the terrain in fact did look better.
