Jugger D started the idea for a major CS mod in a few months ago. Since then, we have laid the groundwork for a mod we call The Vendetta mod. Its main purpose is to provide a storyline-driven mod with several CS maps. The storyline will continue where the Tribes 2 storyline left off, with the first map being the Pact liberation of Ymir in 3947. The outcome of each map will determine the next map in rotation, and thus the players will form the storyline as they play. For example, if the Pact team is able to defeat the Derm in the Ymir assault, they will move on to liberate another planet in the next map. If they fail, the next mission will feature a Pact retreat.
Each map will have its own custom weapons, vehicles, shapes, and bases which fit the setting and goal of the map. Some custom weapons may even be mission critical. Each map may have its own game type fitting for the mission objectives, as it may be required that a team defend certain assets from being destroyed, or they may have to capture an airfield to prevent enemy reinforcements in the next round. We plan on featuring scripted cinematics throughout the maps to develop the storyline, as important events such as enemy reinforcements would change the battle. We are hoping to get some help with bots, to have some sweet bot support.
However, we are in sore need of help . As of right now, the team consists only of myself, Kittenstomper, Jugger D, and Lt. Earthworm. While we already have the basic storyline and idea, as well as the terrain for our first , we only have one person assigned to each task. After the maps are completed, we will release the entire mod as an entire stand alone mod, where all weapons and vehicles will be playable in any map.

I don't think you mentioned but anyone with milkshape and knows how to use it is welcome too. We have some minor plans to create new vehicles. While it's not as big as the RPG mod or construction, it will definately change the way the game is played.
