GarageGames announces online gaming site; shows beta screenshots of Tribes-like game

Hey, I know I haven't swung by these forums in a while, and it looks kind of dead around here, but I have some exciting news. GarageGames just announced instantaction.com, an online browser-based gaming site. They have some screenshots of a tribes-like multiplayer game called Fallen Empire Legions up on the site. This looks very exciting.

I wonder if this will do anything to revive a long-dead niche gaming community. I for one am considering coming back to game modding. I've made it to my sophomore year of college, and I've since switched from a Game Development major to a B.S. in 3D animation. I think I've realized, though, that my real niche lies in level design, terrain design, character, and weapon design. I owe it to Tribes 2 for my love of 3D design... I should concentrate more on game-oriented designs instead of animation. I'm more of an architect than a storyteller. Hopefully this Fallen Empire Legions is moddable, I'd love something fresh to start working on.
