Alright the time has come for me to do some more work on TribalOutpost.com and Tribes2Maps.com. In an attempt to help better the community (especially if there are new people coming into the game) and make most of the resources available in a single location I am updating TribalOutpost.com with a new design.
Attached is a screenshot of the new design I am working on right now, I would love to hear everyones thoughts about it.
One more thing, I have mentioned this idea to a few people and I wanted to get other peoples attention as well. When I get the new design up and the website working properly with the new design, I am thinking of putting Tribes2Maps.com into an archive format only and move the forums to TribalOutpost.com. All the content will remain the same, the user accounts, everything like normal. Just a new design under a different domain. Also you will all be able to browse Tribes2Maps.com in the old format as well if you choose to.
My reasons for the above is because I am working towards the possibility of a fourth Tribes and for the other "tribes" like games out there being developed. My intention is to keep Tribes2Maps.com/TribalOutpost.com the center of the tribes related games for maps and any other content related.
What do you all in the community think?

"All your maps are belong to me!"
First of all, I don't see a screenshot attached! Secondly, I do like the idea of combining the databases, but be sure that it is obvious to people that the site has moved. For example, anyone going to would be automatically redirected to tribaloutpost.com.
Screenshot attached, I am still messing with color and layout a bit. I must say thanks for the quick response. I agree, I love this site and Tribes, I am not sure I would redirect people away from Tribes2Maps.com but I would do something that is for sure.
I believe that this site is awesome how it is and some sort of archive of it should stay up and browsable.

"All your maps are belong to me!"
You didn't hear it from me but Tribes might be switching hands to somebody else, and no, it is not SS2845. BUT you didn't hear it from me!
Welcome to "Who's Line Is It Anyways?". The show where everything is made up and the points don't matter. That's right, the points are like a birthday cake at a funeral home.
And as much as I hate their genetically-altered guts, you can't forget the Derms .
That's an extremely well-created website. The addition of the light armour to frame the menu looks wonderful, though his floating feet seem odd to me... I'm not sure of a way to fix that.
I am a fan of lighter web pages, so I'd be happy if at least the main text section, if not the whole site background, was lighter. Easier on the eyes.
Aside from those two things, this is certainly a very slick-looking site so far. Keep working!
If I can find some nice female character pictures that I can add in I will.
Generally I am a fan of "lighter" websites as well, this just kinda fell together this way. I still have some more work to do on it. I think this new version has a lighter background, but I am not sure.
As for his floating feet, I can work on hiding those a bit better with a gradient opacity layer that makes them just fade into the background.
I am glad the site looks "slick" glad to hear it, I have a hard time judging my own design work.
Cyborg, no you would not have to re-register, everything will remain the same for the most part.
