As a college student, I can register to be a Polling Place Administrator for the upcoming elections in Chicago. Basically, the election judges are so old they can't figure out how to use the new voting equipment. So they're paying college students $500 for 25 hours of service to assist with the equipment. I'm looking for different ways of blowing this money as soon as possible. Basically, I'm thinking that my first purchase will be this baby:
God I can't wait to play Tribes at 1680x1050 resolution.


Oh yeah, fun story. I brought my 6.1 surround sound speakers down to college with me. One day I had the sound cranked up while playing Tribes 2. Eventually I began to draw a crowd, because the bass was shaking half the floor.
My roommate asked: is that a 3D audio game? Like if someones behind you can you hear it?
Me: Yep =) (As I run a guy down with a Shrike)

At the time, my other roommate was playing Lineage 2, which is basically just a clickfest. My roommate says "Mark, I'm pretty sure that Kyle's game is a little bit cooler than yours. You're just clicking crap, Kyle is blowing stuff up and running people over"

As a student, I could get Vista for free, regardless. But that would be a mistake. Vista would break every driver currently on my system, and not having OpenGL would kill the frame rate on about half the games I own.

Not too bad of a monitor at all for the price. I have a 21" widescreen lcd monitor right now too, its awesome. Tribes 2 on 1680x1050 is sweet.

need to buy mom and brother gifts, pay for contacts and get a teeth cleaning, then maybe I can buy a new monitor. It is that or 1gb of ram...
Since I don't play any games that are new I may spring for the moniter. Seeing as how I owed the Federal gov't this year I won't be getting much a refund from them.

Something about that Dick looks like he was doing something along the lines of auto aim. I've played with Auto aim (just to see if it works the way they say it does) and it is very good, the bad thing about auto aim is that you need to have a well built (and extremely fast) comp to run both T2 and auto aim at once. That was classic btw, that heavy was moving too fast for base (plus the pwnt sound effect)

a friend of mine i used to play on BEML with sent me that ((he did one of those shots i cant remeber which one)) tribesmovies.com/org or somethign had a crap load of stuff like that

that fatal1ty guy has nothing on tribes, autoaim or not tribes takes a bit more skill then UT

autoaim has some other flaws it doesnt make a player any better, lol it is still possible to win against someone with it ((most servers require DT anyway))

Most of the time it just seems like the disc was coming out of his gun wrong. I also suspect some kind of auto-aim script or something.
