Problem with cutting holes

when i try to cut holes it cuts the hole,I can fall through it and all that but it shows no hole, it still shows terrain... do i have a setting wrong or something?

I remember having that problem once, but I cant recall what I did to cause the problem or how I fixed it. I'm thinking, maybe, are you trying to cut holes outside the mission editor boundary? I think that causes problems. That, or you tried to cut holes in terrain that you recently raised/lowered, and the texture needs to be redone on that part of terrain.

no, it wasn't out of bounds or in terrain i had moved recently. i havent really figgured out how to change terrain yet, but its not a big deal to me cause i dont like client side maps. the hole i was trying to cut was in one of the trenches in thin ice.

i had this problem to where you cut holes but the texture doesnt change, i ended up just workign around it ya have to remeber where it is at or putting your interior down and then cutting holes and aligning it so it fits

but then in-game it will still show icy terrain that you can fall through wont it? or will it re-texture it when you re-load the mission?
