Omg thats cool, i'm pretty good at c++ already, taking another course on it for school this year. When scripting maps, is it all in the .mis file? i mean whats the main thing to how it all ties togetehr?

You mostly build maps with the editor rather than script them. You can add scripting to them, or maka a mod, which is pretty much entirely scripting.

If you look in a .mis file, you see that its so close to C++ that its hard to tell the difference. You don't edit it manually, though, except on rare occasions. For example, if the editor won't do something correctly.

yes i see what you all mean, i guess it was the tribes names for each function and type that threw me in a loop. Does this mean that most statements and loops work in the .mis file as if it were in a .exe compiled from c++?

if statements, for loops, etc?
