i just changed vertforce to 10 and everything seems to be fine (and no pop thingy!) im gonna play with the values soon - see what happens and see if i can replicate the problem

well all i've done is change a number... vertforce = 10; and tried 5...

my scripts are available from my website... the install is a bit messy but most of the changes i've made to vehicles are to the flying ones. only "publicly available" one is a script that makes the tank chaingun spread tighter, and fire longer (uses less energy)

and in classic, all you need is 80km/h in the tank to run someone over... not bad considering the light runs at over 130 km/h (players can kill themselves by skiing into vehicles)
