how do i add an object

I dont know how to add an object , when i go to the objects folder, nothing shows up, no gens,turrets, or bases. please help me, also where do i make simgroups or whatever?

Also how do i save a map that i opened as a map already made , and want to save it as a new map with my name? without overwriting an existing map, and basically how do i save my map. thanks

i got how to place the stuff but when i place an inventory station why does it go through the wall about 100 feet away when i want it to go in a corner?

You can change where the objects appear on the right hand side in the 'drop to' box. I'm not sure about every single setting though, you'll have experiment.

i think i saved my new map as sanctuary instead of what i wanted it to be called, i have it saved as what i wanted it to be called, but i think i screwed up sanctuary.... and also does the editor go reeeeeeeallly slow when you make stuff empty or whatever?
