Missing NavGraph, but unable to make one?

Postby UniGlique » Mon Jul 05, 2004 10:57 pm

wow im starting to realize how much i suck at this. anyway im finally almost done with my map, and i was going through and making final little changes to it, and somehow my spawn spheres got deleted. this had happened to me before and i know how to fix it (usually) so i did so, but when i ran the spnBuild script, i got an error saying i was missing a NavGraph! iv tried to create a new NavGraph, but it doesnt seem to work. can anyone help me?

You probably have the spawnSpheres or mission area off the terrain. You can only build nav and spn graphs on the terrain area -1024 -1024 2048 2048 any thing placed out side that area will not build graphs.

Press "f5" in the Editor (mission area editor) and see if you have the mission area off the side of the terrain in the little overhead picture on the top right of the screen.

nope that didnt work. i think its a problem with the actual graphbuild script. im not sure how i screwed that up though. when i try to run it, it says theres no navigation graph and then shows an error message

unable to find object: 'NavGraph' attemting to call function 'setGenMode'

then it just quits automatically and give me an unhandled exception message. PLEASE help i dont want to lose my work on this map

Can you post the Terrain file? As that would be needed to build Spawn Graph.
