Water block trouble

Im new to mapping and i have a problem with water blocks. WHen i place them, save and reload the map, only parts of the water are showing. small blocks or squares of the water is missing! If anyone could help i would be greateful.

how big is the terrain square size? i think anything over 8 will start to chop off big chunks.

also make sure if you want the water covering the whole map to put on floodfill and make the water big enough to go outside of the boundrys. maybe 1000 x 1000

No, he's saying, if you want the water to be map-wide, set it to flood.

If you're just doing "ponds", make sure the water cuts well into the surrounding terrain, so it's hidden.

Also, what BF is saying is if the terrain block has the square size over 8, things start going weird.

... I think that's what he's saying, anyway.

ok i see what your getting at. ill try to adjust the water and terrain, see if it changes. thanks
