Well, crap
I finally got my Bespin map the way i want it. Objectives, bases, objects, teleporters, the works. It all works great.
EXCEPT...
Those damned spawnspheres!
*look at Sfphinx with big, sad, puppy eyes*
Can you help me?
Can anyone help me with this?

Well I realize that my tutorial is down, which reminds me that I need to get it up on TribalOutpost.com as soon as possible.
I ran it this morning one my system and spawngraph building failed. I looked over the syntax and it look "ok" but obviously something isn't correct. I will take a more closer look at it tonight. It shouldn't be too difficult to fix.

Yes if the Spawnspheres intersect a liquid block at any point it will fail. The easiest way to fix this is backup the .mis file, remove the liquid block run the spawngraph generator on it (tribes2.exe -spnBuild Bespin CTF) if the .spn file in terrains is larger then 1kb then it was successful (usually at least). Once it is successfully, delete the modified .mis file and restore the backup.

One thing i noticed during the spawngraph building is that it registers all of the static objects in the bases as potential threats to the graph.
I wonder if that has anything to do with the failures.
*EDIT*
Well, i just tried it with the waterblock removed. No dice. I am gonna try removing all of the "static objects" and see what happens then.
*EDIT2*
Well, i took out all of the "static" objects, and still no dice. I am gonna try to lower the bases down by about 1K meters and see what that does.
*EDIT3*
I lowered the bases to the level of the "Mining Station" and ran the spawngraph building. Still no nice.
I just took out the V-pad spawnspheres and made the base spawnspheres larger to encompass the base parts, but not the v-pads. I'll try building again.
*EDIT4*
Well, that didn't work. I am running out of ideas...

You could try making the spawngraph manually, but I would suggest this as a last resort, since its rather tedious.
I don't think altitude makes a difference to the graph generator, though if you get it to work, you can use spawnedit to put the spawngraph back to its regular height. Having so many interiors together may be the problem - I saw a lot of "One and one one root" messages on the console.
Manual Spawngraph Instructions:
First, download and install spawnedit from here:
In the editor, create a new SimGroup under MissionCleanup called "SpawnGraph".
In this SimGroup, create more SimGroups for each of your SpawnSphereMarker objects. Add the dynamic fields:
pos = position of spawn sphere
radius = radius of spawn sphere
type = type of spawn sphere (either "indoor" or "outdoor")
If a Spawn Sphere has both indoor and outdoor nodes, it needs two SimGroups.
Players will be spawned at any Marker objects placed within these simgroups. My install is slightly fubar'd since i can't place markers directly(maybe it was the last patch, idk). Copy & Paste works though. Players spawn slightly above them, so they don't need to be exactly on the ground.
Once you have all your spawn nodes placed, run:
exportSpawnGraph( mapname.spn.cs );
from the console. Then, exit/alt-tab out of T2, start a command prompt and
cd \Dynamix\Tribes2\GameData\base\terrains
(or whereever your T2 install is located)
