Centering/Mirroring

Disclaimer: I'm very new to mapping so please explain everything as if I was a 5 year old.


I'm trying to create some balanced missions for comp play and would like them all to have mirrored terrain. After I move the mission bounderies to where I want I click the Center button and...nothing! It won't center on my new bounderies and, at least to my limited knowledge, I can't properly mirror my terrain without being centered. I tried searching the forum to see if this has come up before but found nothing so please forgive if I am repeating an already answered question. Help!

You can only mirror the terrain around the center of the terrain block

As far as I know, the 'center' button doesn't do anything.

If you're going to mirror terrain, you're making a CS map (unless you use one of the mirrored TR2 terrains). So you might as well make the terrain yourself around the center of the terrain block and then mirror it.

Or just make a SS map, and try to find similar parts in the terrain :\

Many (if not all, I can't remember) of the TR2 terrains are mirrored. Just a thought, possibly useless.

Yeah, I went back and looked. Most aren't mirrored.
