terraforming problem

you know the green "box" that is displayed all around when you select terraforming editor ?, kinda like the red mission boundery box when you are in the editor. Is there any way to expand the green box, because my second base is just beyoned the green box and it wont let me cut holes or edit the terrain in any way when i am beyond the green boundry. I am too lazy to sit there and try to rearrange the complex base. lol.

you know you could just select the entire contents of the base and everything you select will move as well. You won't even need to re arrange, unless it's conected to something by a bridge. I don't remember a green boundry

The Squares that make up the Terrain are 8 x 8 in size (by default). If you place your base at 103.697, 455.992 you WILL have problems when trying to cut out a Square from the Terrain.
But if you placed your base at 160.000, 400.000 (160 / 8 = 20, 400 / 8 = 50) than you will be able to cut out the squares much more efficiently from under your base. (ie. place the base at x, y that are even multiples of 8).

Of course if you stretch ur terrain on a hill or such, this generally starts muckin it up.

thanks, but i just moved the entire base so no more problem!
you can try out this map its called "Inferno", just look for revmod2 and find the [|] 4FRONT [|] server its on there for BETA testing, once BETA testing is over it will be uploaded to tribes2maps.com!
