No, open your file in the mission editor, go to the AI Editor section, and choose the Build Spawngraph option.

ok i tried that....now when it goes thru it brings up a bar and says building graph....then after a min the screen goes black and the program shuts down completly and returns me to my desktop....
what is going wrong with this thing?

Post the command line that you used when you built it through the run box.

I might know what happened, but i need visual evidence to prove it.

I built it thru the AI editor....everytime ive tried to use the run command line it tells me there is no program assossiated with that file.....the name of the mission is caves what should the commandline be?

It depends on where you have your game installed. If you have it installed in the default place, this should do the trick:

C:\dynamix\Tribes 2\GameData\Tribes2.exe - spnbuild Caves [insert game-type here]

If if you have it installed somewhere else, then modify the command like accordingly.

If it still does not work, then you might want to consider installing Tribes 2 again, but in a different directory. It always helps to have it installed in more than one place, just in case something happens and you can't use one or the other.

Once you do that, run the command line again. If it does not work, then i am afraid that i cannot help you any further.

heres the mis file...im still working on placeing a few simgroups and there are no vpads yet....but its a work in progress

I also tried to run the command line u posted....it launched the game but told me to laucnh the program i had to use the selected shortcuts.....any suggestions?

I saved all my maps and im going to uninstall and remove T2 from my computer and reinstall it without DT or any of the PJs and see if it works better

1) Too many "Scaled" Interiors.
2) Interiors (Bases) have scaled blocks running right through them.
3) Spawnspheres are too small
4) I didn't check if you set Spawnsphere "Outdoor Weight = 0"
5) I didn't check if you had a "Terrain" (nessassary).
6) I would just redo the map (try the serverside starter kit in the tools section).

after i reinstalled T2 with a clean copy...no pjs or DT... i tried another map creation...this time after i created my terrain the way i wanted it I created my spawnshperes First.....im only going to have outdoor spawn fields...they work perfect...is it going to cause a conflict when I add al my bases in???

The spawnspheres have to be drawn after you place buildings. The spawnshere checks for walls and floors and stuff like that. A good place to spawn. It MUSt be Drawn after everything (including trees and rocks) are placed in map.

Well, unless you want to spawn with a terrible case of Stuckinawallitis.

However, for testing purposes, it wouldn't be totally insane to make a spawnsphere in a location close to the bases, but that won't end up having any objects in it, jsut so you can get to the base easier.

But, as Laggy said, you gotta* redo the spawngraph at the end.
